Today I installed the release version of WSS 3.0 and everything went smoothly. The install was a breeze, as expected. I noticed immediately one change that makes live easier. The folders for the virtual web sites under wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories are now named after the port the site is using not the GUID, which is much better to work with.
